We're thrilled that some of our DSPs are now trained to offer supported employment, including:
Discovery: a short-term service including exploration of skills and interests, short work experiences, and informal interviews, designed to help us get a sense of what a client might be great at!
Job development/placement: identifying job opportunities in the community, or working with businesses to create jobs that will be a great fit, then supporting clients with applications and interviews.
Job coaching (initial, maintenance, or ongoing): on-the-job support to help build the skills needed for a new job, learn new tasks, or even work toward promotions.
Employment path work (community & benefits counseling)
